Data Engineer (Mid-Level) - Manchester (Hybrid, 2 Days Onsite)

Morson Edge have partenered with an incredible, life changing Health-Tech organisation, in their search for a talented Mid-Level Data Engineer to join their growing team in Manchester. This is a permanent opportunity for someone who is passionate about building scalable data solutions and enjoys working in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

The Role
As a Data Engineer, you will play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining data pipelines and infrastructure. You'll work closely with analysts, data scientists, and stakeholders to ensure data is accessible, reliable, and optimised for business use.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain robust data pipelines and ETL processes
• Work with large datasets to ensure data quality, integrity, and performance
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support data-driven decision-making
• Optimise and manage cloud-based data infrastructure
• Contribute to best practices in data engineering and architecture

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of hands-on experience with Python
• At least 1 year of experience working with AWS (eg S3, Lambda, Redshift, or similar services)
• Strong understanding of data engineering principles and data modelling
• Experience with SQL and relational databases
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team

Working Arrangement

• Hybrid working model with 2 days per week in the Manchester office
