Role: Cyber Resiliency Specialist

As a Cyber Resiliency Specialist, you will lead the design and delivery of executive-level cyber crisis simulations, helping senior stakeholders build confidence and capability in responding to real-world cyber incidents.
Alongside this, you will contribute to a broader cyber resilience and disaster recovery programme, supporting business units in improving recovery planning, testing, and governance.
This role offers strong exposure to senior leadership and global teams, making it ideal for someone who enjoys combining technical knowledge with strategic influence.
Key Responsibilities
Executive Cyber Exercises (Primary Focus)
- Plan, design, and facilitate executive-level cyber tabletop exercises
- Develop realistic crisis scenarios aligned to current threats and business risks
- Guide senior stakeholders through simulations to enhance decision-making and communication
- Produce post-exercise reports with clear, actionable recommendations
- Drive follow-up improvement initiatives across the business
Disaster Recovery & Resilience
- Support the development and maintenance of Disaster Recovery Plans (DRPs)
- Assist in Systems Impact Assessments (SIAs) to identify critical services and dependencies
- Coordinate recovery testing, backup validation, and resilience exercises
- Track and support remediation of identified gaps
Governance & Reporting
- Contribute to resilience metrics, dashboards, and executive reporting
- Maintain documentation for audit and compliance purposes
Stakeholder Engagement
- Collaborate with global technology and business teams
- Act as a trusted advisor on resilience and crisis readiness best practices
- Facilitate cross-functional workshops and discussions
About You
Experience Required
- Experience designing or facilitating cyber crisis simulations or tabletop exercises
- Background in disaster recovery, business continuity, or cyber resilience programmes
- Strong understanding of IT systems, dependencies, and incident response
- Experience working with senior stakeholders and producing executive-level reporting
- Proven ability to operate in global, cross-functional environments
Desirable
- Exposure to governance, risk, and compliance frameworks
- Knowledge of data protection regulations (eg GDPR)
- Familiarity with cloud-based environments and resilience practices
Skills & Attributes

- Strong analytical and reporting skills
- Ability to translate technical concepts into clear business insights
- Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Collaborative and adaptable approach
Qualifications
- Degree in Cybersecurity, IT, Computer Science, or related field
- Relevant certifications (eg DR, Business Continuity, or Information Security) are advantageous
