About the Role

As a Senior Oracle Fusion Technical Architect, you will lead the technical design and delivery of a large-scale Oracle Fusion programme. You will act as the key technical authority across Fusion applications, integrations, and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), ensuring solutions are scalable, secure, and aligned with architectural standards.

You will also serve as the primary escalation point for technical challenges while supporting governance, delivery assurance, and transition to business-as-usual operations.

Key Responsibilities

1. Solution Architecture & Technical Design

  • Define and maintain end-to-end technical architecture across Oracle Fusion (ERP, HCM, Payroll, SCM)
  • Translate business and functional requirements into scalable technical solutions
  • Review and validate supplier designs against architectural and non-functional standards
  • Support phased implementations across multiple modules

2. Integration Architecture (OIC)

  • Design and oversee integrations using Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC)
  • Define standards for error handling, monitoring, retry mechanisms, and security
  • Act as escalation point for integration and data synchronization issues
  • Support complex integrations including finance (PO/Non-PO) and external systems

3. OCI & PaaS Technical Leadership

  • Provide hands-on guidance across Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) and PaaS services
  • Work with services like Autonomous Database, Visual Builder/APEX, networking (VCN, VPN, Bastion)
  • Review CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure-as-code (Terraform), and deployment strategies
  • Support environment provisioning and release management

4. Reporting & Data Architecture

  • Lead reporting solutions using OTBI, BI Publisher, BICC, and Fusion Data Intelligence (FDI)
  • Ensure data accuracy through validation, reconciliation, and performance tuning
  • Recommend reporting strategies aligned with business and governance needs

5. Environment, Release & Go-Live Support

  • Oversee activities across DEV, SIT, UAT, PROD environments
  • Support cloning, refresh, and data masking processes
  • Provide technical assurance for releases, cutover, and go-live readiness
  • Support hypercare and early life support

6. Security & Access Control

  • Guide implementation of RBAC and Oracle Fusion security models
  • Support identity integrations (eg, Microsoft Entra ID)
  • Ensure compliance with security and regulatory standards
  • Handle complex access and segregation-of-duties issues

7. Technical Escalation & Defect Management

  • Act as the primary escalation point for critical technical issues
  • Lead root cause analysis across vendors and teams
  • Validate and approve fixes before deployment
  • Support defect triage during testing and go-live phases

8. Service Transition & Stakeholder Collaboration

  • Support transition to BAU and service delivery models
  • Contribute to runbooks, documentation, and knowledge transfer
  • Collaborate with functional teams, vendors, and programme stakeholders
  • Provide inputs in governance and architecture forums

Required Skills & Experience Core Technical Expertise

  • Strong experience as an Oracle Fusion Technical/Solution Architect
  • Hands-on experience across ERP, HCM, Payroll, SCM modules
  • Expertise in Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) and OCI
  • Strong knowledge of integration patterns (API, file-based, event-driven)
  • Experience with reporting tools: OTBI, BI Publisher, BICC, FDI
