CNC 4/5 Axis Milling Programmer/Setter/Operator (Double Day Shift)

Location: Worcester. Salary: £32,000 - £39,600 per annum plus excellent benefits (8% pension, private medical, etc). The Company: Yamazaki Mazak is a leading global manufacturing company based in Worcester. This is an excellent opportunity to work for a market leading Machine Tool manufacturer that has been at the forefront of the industry for many years.

A position has arisen for a CNC 4/5 Axis Milling Programmer/Setter/Operator (Double Day Shift) within the machining department.

Jonathan Lee Workforce Solutions are the preferred supplier to Mazak.

• Programming, setting & operating Mazak 4 & 5 Axis Machining Centres.
• Producing a wide and varied range of highly toleranced parts used in the manufacture of Mazak CNC machines.
• Understand Mazatrol CNC controls and be able to program/edit/improve existing and new parts.
• Work within a team of engineers to adhere to health & safety guidelines and rules.
• Promote positive culture amongst staff by engaging in H&S improvements & kaizen initiatives.

• Solid understanding of setting & operating CNC controlled Machining Centres.
• Experience of safely using CNC controls.
• Experience working within a team in a busy manufacturing environment.
• Program from drawing Mazatrol CNC controls.
• Mechanical engineering apprenticeship/HNC or similar.

• Double day-shift rotation:
• Mon to Fri: 5.30am - 1.30pm
• Mon to Thu: 2.00pm - 10.30pm; Fri: 2.00pm - 8.00pm
