Team Summary The Client Implementation Team at T.Rowe Price are responsible for delivering Onboarding and Client Lifecycle activities for our Client's including complex change activities such as restructures and changes of custodian as well as terminations.Primarily supporting the EMEA region, the Client Implementation Managers (CIM) work across multiple investment vehicles offered by T. Rowe Price ("TRP"), providing project management and technical support in respect of all Client and Fund Lifecycle Activities including account launches, complex change activity and terminations. Role Summary The CIM Specialist is responsible for leading on a number of change activities across all client & product types and supporting processes led by the CIM Managers. This includes static data and account set up for separate account launches including custodian onboarding, account set up coordination across the TRP systems, proprietary product account set up coordination, and fee rebate instruction preparation.This role requires the candidate to be organised, to deliver a high standard of accuracy and timeliness with a focus on client service delivery. It is expected that all associates demonstrate accountability in ensuring client service needs are met and exceed, both through core service delivery as well as in maintaining internal records.The position operates independently, partnering and collaborating with multiple internal departments across North America and Asia Pacific regions as well as external custodians, vendors and administrative service providers the CIM will drive issue resolution and escalate any operational/administrative concerns. The CIM Specialist will help to evolve our business capabilities, to continue to operate as optimally as possible, for both the success of our clients and our business. The role will require the individual to identify process improvements, within direct department or broader firm processes where they play a part, participate in projects and initiatives to further innovate and enhance our capabilities, in order to deliver improved client outcomes and facilitate the success of our global strategy.This role requires the candidate to be organised, to deliver a high standard of accuracy and timeliness with a focus on client service delivery. Escalates complex issues and requests to more senior staff as needed. Gathers data to inform operating or servicing agreements. Performs analyses on operational issues raised by clients and their service providers. Identifies a variety of nonstandard operational needs and escalates accordingly. Builds and maintains effective working relationships with internal and external customers. Works with clients to resolve a wide variety of basic issues. Supports the communication of information to internal parties following established processes. Participates in initiatives and projects to enhance the quality and efficiency of the client operations department processes. Recommends process improvements. Lead or attend to all necessary implementation project meetings to ensure change activity is delivered / awareness of client requirements on new account onboardings that are being supported Preparation of custodian onboarding packs for new client arrangements, liaising between the external custodians and TRP internal teams to exchange this information Connectivity set up between TRP and Client's chosen third parties including Custody Account set up Liaise with Middle Office Teams and outsourced investment operations provider to ensure operational readiness for account launch Facilitate "Go Live" meetings for every account launch with investment team and outsourced investment operations provider in readiness for launch date Respond to internal and external queries on an ad-hoc basis Lead on generating various team reports related to client accounts as required Qualifications: Required: Bachelor's degree or the equivalent combination of education and relevant experience AND 2+ years of total relevant work experience Preferred: A minimum of 3 years of experience working within a financial services organisation is required, ideally in a client facing or operational servicing role A basic understanding of Funds, Distributors and Platforms is desirable Has some proven project management experience Skills & Competencies: Strong knowledge of the asset management business and investment products including a broad understanding of Separate Accounts and Mutual Funds Sound operational knowledge, a good understanding of the trade lifecycle and all of the contributing parties, Custodian set up and SWIFT connectivity would be an advantage Excellent client service skills Strong verbal and written communication. Ability to manage multiple, competing projects, priorities, and sensitive issues. Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail, accuracy, and deadlines. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships at all levels of the organization. Proven ability to work in a team environment with a strong sense of urgency.
