We are seeking an experienced Azure Architect to provide advanced technical support across multiple sites, with a strong focus on Microsoft Server administration, Office 365, Azure, and virtualisation technologies. This role combines hands on technical expertise with a proactive, customer focused mindset. You will play a key role in maintaining and improving our IT infrastructure, supporting users at all levels, and ensuring system reliability across the business.

The ideal candidate will have solid experience with Hyper V, Azure, and Azure Stack HCI, excellent communication skills, and a willingness to travel between sites as needed.

Key Responsibilities
  • Technical Support
    • Deliver comprehensive IT support across multiple locations, assisting users from graduate to Director level.
    • Build, migrate, and maintain Microsoft Server environments.
    • Manage and support desktop and virtualised infrastructure solutions.
  • Technology Proficiency
    • Administer and support Azure infrastructure, Active Directory, Intune, and Office 365.
    • Configure and maintain SQL databases and managed instances.
    • Implement and manage Azure services, including Azure Defender, Azure Policy, and Azure Networking.
  • Virtualization
    • Manage and optimise Hyper V and Azure Stack HCI environments.
    • Experience with VMware is advantageous.
  • Collaboration and Communication
    • Work effectively with technical and non technical teams across various sites.
    • Communicate complex technical issues clearly and professionally.
  • Continuous Improvement
    • Demonstrate a strong passion for IT support and professional growth.
    • Contribute to the enhancement of infrastructure, tools, and user support processes.
Skills and Experience
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in IT support or systems administration roles.
  • Expertise in Microsoft Server administration, Office 365, Azure, and Hyper V.
  • Hands on experience with Azure Stack HCI, SQL, and related Azure tools.
  • Familiarity with SaaS applications, AKS Kubernetes, and data warehousing is desirable.
  • Exposure to Dell backup and replication, Dell storage, and VDI technologies preferred.
  • Strong communication, problem solving, and multitasking skills.
