Are you an experienced Security Systems Engineer with strong intruder alarm knowledge and an interest in smart home security?

We are working with a well established home technology integrator delivering high quality residential and commercial projects across the Midlands. This is a hands on, client facing role focused on delivering clean, professional installations to a very high standard.

This role will suit someone who takes pride in their work, enjoys autonomy, and wants to work on premium projects rather than volume jobs.

The role

You will take full ownership of security installations from start to finish. The focus is on intruder alarm systems and integrated smart home security, primarily within high end residential properties, with some commercial work as well.

You will be trusted to manage your own workload, represent the business professionally on site, and deliver systems that work exactly as they should.

What you will be doing

• Installing and configuring intruder alarm systems and smart home security solutions
• Commissioning systems to meet client requirements and industry standards
• Testing, fault finding, and ensuring long term system reliability
• Managing projects independently including time planning and materials
• Communicating clearly and professionally with clients on site
• Completing accurate job and commissioning documentation

What they are looking for

• Proven experience installing and configuring intruder alarm systems
• Strong technical knowledge of security systems and best practice
• Texecom experience is essential
• Comfortable working independently and running your own jobs
• Strong attention to detail and a professional, client facing approach
• Full UK driving licence
• Reliable, trustworthy, and self motivated

• £35,000 to £44,000 salary depending on experience
• Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm
