Work on large-scale LED video walls & commercial displays Be part of a growing specialist integrator (not a faceless corporate) Real progression into Senior Engineer level Full product & system training provided Exposure to high-end digital signage technology Overtime opportunities available Projects across major UK retail environments The Role As an Installer, you'll be responsible for: Installing and commissioning LED video walls & commercial LCD displays Mounting large-format screens and structural LED systems Running, terminating and labelling power, video & data cabling Building and wiring AV racks (media players, IP switches, control systems) Supporting system commissioning & signal testing Fault finding alongside senior engineers Working safely in live retail & airport environments Completing installation documentation and asset tagging This is a hands-on role for someone who takes pride in neat installs, clean cable management and professional delivery. What the Client is Looking For Essential: Experience mounting displays & signage brackets Speaker installation (ceiling or surface mounted) Confident terminating power & data Strong attention to detail NovaStar experience Comfortable travelling UK-wide (including night work) Full UK Driving Licence (max 6 points) Desirable (but not essential): LED / Digital Signage experience AV rack building Structured cabling Reading schematics & wiring diagrams CSCS / ECS Experience in live retail projects If you've got solid installation experience but limited LED exposure - full training will be provided. Fire & Security Engineer £35k-£45k Basic Salary (neg DOE) + Company Van + Pension + Benefits Location - Hampshire - Fareham Portsmouth Southampton Alecto Recruitment Ltd currently have an excellent opportunity for an experienced Fire & Security Engineer to join a leading and well-established client of ours and who have over 20 years' experience within the Mechanical, Electrical and Building Services sector. Working as a Mobile Fire & Security Engineer, your role will mainly cover the Hampshire region (Portsmouth, Southampton, Fareham areas etc.), therefore you will need to live local to one of these areas and to be considered. You will be responsible for installation, commissioning, servicing, and maintenance of a wide range of fire detection, alarm, CCTV, intruder, and emergency lighting systems across commercial, industrial, educational, and public-sector environments. Job Summary: Service, maintain, and fault-find on: - fire alarm systems, access control, CCTV, intruder alarms etc. Working across a range of commercial premises and clients. Form part of a call out rota system, however very rare to be called out. (additional standby payment when on call, plus overtime rates and paid door to door). Skills Required: Proven experience as a Fire & Security Engineer Strong knowledge of fire detection systems, fire alarms, access control, CCTV etc. Recognised industry qualifications (FIA modules, electrical qualifications, etc.) Hold UK driving licence. Project Engineer - Solar PV Salary / Package - £35k-£40k Base Salary (Employed) + Company Vehicle, Phone, Laptop, Pension, Holiday, Training & Benefits. Location - Leicestershire / Northamptonshire Company Background: Superb opportunity to join a reputable and growing Solar PV and Renewable Energy specialist based in the Leicestershire region. Joining as a Project Coordinator, you'll be responsible for coordinating / project management of multiple residential and commercial Solar PV and Renewable installations. Job Role: Coordinating and managing all aspects of installations / projects, from initial enquiry and through to project completion. Liaising with customers, suppliers, your own team, and subcontractors. Conduct site specific Design confirmations, risk assessment and method statements. Read electrical drawings and equipment layouts, ensuring suitability for Install. Diary Management, confirming dates for site visits, install and commissioning. Managing costings on site, monitoring equipment prices and negotiating where possible to save on initial costings. Arrange deliveries to site. Liaise with the site team to ensure they are aware of any special requirements. Meet team on site, ensuring awareness of roles and to resolve any unforeseen issues. Deal with ongoing site issues during and after installations. Ensure contracts are completed on time and to budget. Develop O&M business by initialising contracts with current and previous customers. Run O&Ms and ensure maintenance contracts are fulfilled for the customers. Ensuring the company has an up to date presence on Social media (LinkedIn and Facebook), posting about completed projects. Key Skills / Experience Required: You'll need to have relevant experience within a similar field, electrical engineering or ideally relevant Solar PV experience. Ideally 18th Edition Electrically qualified or equivalent. Previous experience project coordinating or project managing. Construction site Knowledge and ideally CSCS card. SSSTS or SMSTS desirable.
