A Typical Day in the Job:

• Providingfirst-line IT supportand troubleshooting over the phone for hardware, software, network, antivirus, and operating system issues.
• Deliveringremote supportfor clients across Microsoft platforms.
• Assisting with theinstallation, configuration, and maintenanceof computer systems and software.
• Fixing, preparing, and replacing client hardware, including desktops, laptops, and peripherals.
• Troubleshooting system and network problems, diagnosing and resolving technical faults efficiently.
• Logging all issues, updates, and resolutions accurately in the service management database.
• Supporting colleagues and senior engineers on larger technical projects and client visits.

Youll be fully supported by experienced IT professionals while working towards your qualification throughBaltic Apprenticeships.

• Passionate about IT and eager to learn from the ground up.
• Excellent communication skills and a professional, customer-focused attitude.
• Organised, patient, and methodical in your approach to problem-solving.
• Creative thinker with good attention to detail.
• Confident with technology and interested in developing both technical and administrative skills.
• A Grade 5/C in GCSE English and a Grade 4/C in GCSE Maths is required for this role.

Salary, Hours & Benefits:

• £14,722 £16,672per annum (depending on experience).
• Monday to Friday,37.5 hours per week.
• Standard holiday entitlement plusall bank holidays.

Your Training with Baltic Apprenticeships

Youll complete aLevel 3 IT Support Technician Apprenticeship, developing your skills in hardware, networking, cybersecurity, and customer support. With live virtual training sessions, self-paced learning, and dedicated tutor guidance, youll gain the technical confidence and knowledge to succeed in IT.
