As a Systems Engineer, you will be pivotal in defining the technical backbone for our major programme bids. Your primary focus will be providing the System Architecture Definition across all three segments: Space, Control, and Ground. Your key contributions will include: 1. System Architecture & Design Leadership Defining the comprehensive Ground System level architectural design, including leading technical trade-offs. Working closely with Engineering Leads and Partners to define segment and associated sub-system architectures via integrated Working Groups. 2. Requirements Management Owning the end-to-end requirements lifecycle: capture and definition from high-level stakeholder needs down to sub-system specifications. Ensuring complete traceability and managing the Verification, Validation, and Test (VV&T) support activities. 3. Proposal & Governance Providing expert technical inputs for major proposals and bids. Acting as the Solution Lead for customer and internal governance reviews, informing stakeholders on progress and problem resolution. Contributing to Systems Engineering and project management inputs for planning, schedule, and cost activities. What We Are Looking For Qualifications: A University degree or equivalent in Electronic Engineering, Computer Science, Telecommunications, or a closely related discipline. Essential Experience & Knowledge: Proven experience in the design, integration, and roll-out of end-to-end digital telecommunications systems . (Experience with Milsatcom systems is highly desirable). Demonstrable experience covering the space, control, and ground segments using established methodologies (Waterfall or Agile). Experience in defining solutions within an Architectural Framework utilizing Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) and appropriate tools (Enterprise Architect is desirable). Experience in technical engagement with external customers and internal partners. A solid working understanding of the key portfolios, including satellite platforms and payloads, satellite control, mission control, and network control.
