Are you confident on the phone and motivated by results?We're working on behalf of our client who is currently looking to recruit a Business Development Executive to join their growing freight and logistics team in Armagh. You'll play a key role in driving new business, building client relationships, and helping expand our customer base.Responsibilities
- Make outbound calls to identify and convert new business opportunities
- Follow up on warm leads and manage your own sales pipeline
- Build lasting relationships with clients and understand their freight needs
- Prepare and deliver tailored proposals and quotations
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure excellent customer service
- Liaise with internal teams regarding sales and marketing
- Provide regular reports on sales activity and performance to management.
- Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities.
- Track activity and performance through HubSpot CRM
Criteria
- Confident communicator with strong phone and people skills
- Resilient, self-motivated, and target-driven
- Experience in outbound sales, telesales, or lead generation
- Experienced with using Microsoft Teams
- Proficient in CRM systems (HubSpot preferred) and MS Office
- Knowledge of the freight/logistics industry is an advantage
