As our IT & Infrastructure Project Manager, you will lead a mix of internal infrastructure projects and technology delivery for exhibitions, conferences, and live events. From concept to completion, you will manage scope, timelines, budgets, and risks, ensuring seamless technology delivery across multiple high-profile projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead end-to-end IT and infrastructure projects, including server and network rollouts, AV systems, and enterprise software implementations.
  • Plan, resource, and execute projects across internal teams and third-party vendors.
  • Deliver event-ready IT services for all exhibitions and live events, ensuring systems are operational and scalable.
  • Manage and mentor a team of engineers to meet technological needs for each event.
  • Maintain strong project governance: risk management, cost tracking, change control, and reporting.
  • Provide regular updates and dashboards to senior stakeholders.
  • Support technology strategy for new venue launch, including IT fit-out, access control, broadcast readiness, and networking.
  • Develop robust project plans, milestones, dependencies, and contingency strategies.
  • Maintain and improve project documentation, workflows, and delivery standards.

Person Specification:

  • 5+ years' experience delivering IT infrastructure and business systems projects.
  • Experience in live venue, exhibition, or large-scale event technology environments is highly advantageous.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement, relationship management, and client-focused approach.
  • Excellent organisational, prioritisation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of IT concepts, software development processes, and project management methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall).
  • Relevant certifications (PMP, PMI-ACP, Six Sigma) are desirable.
  • Enthusiastic, proactive, and motivated to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
