SAP Solution Architect
Rate: £700/day (Inside IR35)
Location: North London
Organisation: Local Authority
Hybrid Pattern: 1-2 days per week onsite, remaining time WFH
Contract: 12 month temporary contract (3 month rolling extensions)
We are seeking an experienced SAP Solution Architect to support a major ERP transformation, migrating from a Legacy SAP system to SAP S/4HANA and SuccessFactors. This is a key role in ensuring quality, reliability and compliance across all SAP-enabled services within a local authority environment.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the design and documentation of the overall SAP S/4HANA and SuccessFactors architecture, ensuring alignment with business strategy.
Oversee blueprinting and integration across Finance, HR, Payroll and Procurement (Purchase to Pay).
Translate business requirements into scalable, cloud-based SAP SaaS solutions.
Support the data migration strategy and cutover planning, ensuring smooth transition from Legacy systems.
Oversee integration with third-party systems and maintain interface design standards.
Contribute to test strategy and provide architectural oversight for SIT, UAT and Payroll Parallel Runs.
Ensure compliance with data protection and security standards, implementing role-based access controls.
Engage closely with internal teams, system implementers and governance forums to ensure solution alignment and quality delivery.
Skills & Experience
Proven experience in SAP S/4HANA and SuccessFactors implementations.
Strong understanding of SaaS architecture, cloud integration and data migration.
Knowledge of SAP Activate methodology and agile delivery.
Experience in public sector ERP programmes is highly desirable.
Relevant SAP certifications (eg Technology Associate, Solution Architect, Integration Associate) are advantageous.
