Data & Reporting Systems Lead to join a critical Systems Optimisation team responsible for shaping and enhancing enterprise reporting capabilities. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys being both
hands-on with Oracle reporting tools and taking ownership of
data governance, user access control, and system optimisation across a large-scale environment.Reporting to the Deputy Head of the Systems Optimisation team, you'll manage and evolve the organisation's Oracle-based reporting environment, develop dashboards and reporting assets, lead system improvement projects, and ensure access and data security are governed effectively.
Key ResponsibilitiesThis role would suit someone who enjoys working across
technical delivery, stakeholder engagement, and data integrity - acting as
the expert for Oracle reporting and access control.
- Develop, maintain and optimise Oracle OTBI and BI Publisher (BIP) reports, becoming the first point of contact for end users.
- Write, troubleshoot, and tune SQL for reporting, analysis, and integrations.
- Lead data/reporting projects end-to-end - from scoping and requirements through to deployment.
- Act as the technical lead on reporting improvements and integrations with other core systems.
- Manage user access and data security, ensuring compliance with GDPR and internal standards.
- Support Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) environments, including configuration and monitoring.
- Produce documentation, training materials and user guidance.
- Provide 2nd-line support and incident resolution through ServiceNow.
- Champion continuous improvement, identifying opportunities to enhance reporting performance and processes.

- Proven experience with Oracle OTBI and BI Publisher (BIP).
- Strong SQL skills for data extraction and manipulation.
- Experience managing user access and permissions across enterprise systems.
- Demonstrated track record of leading reporting or data-related projects.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement, communication, and customer service skills.
- Confident troubleshooting complex technical issues and driving resolutions.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage workload across multiple priorities.
Desirable: - Experience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).
- Project management or delivery experience.
