Robert Half is proud to have partnered with a client in the health-care industry who are growing their data engineering team. This is a newly created role as the business is going through impressive growth. You will work with an existing team of Data Engineers and join the team on some exciting digital transformation projects. This is a permanent role, paying up to £55,000 with remote working (occasional travel to Birmingham)
The Role
We are looking for proven Data Engineers to join the team, responsible for developing and implementing data pipelines to extract, transform and load data using Snowflake. Key responsibilities include:
- Ingest, store and process large data sets
- Assist in creation and maintenance of a scalable and high-performance data warehouse
- Investigate and analyse alternative solutions to data storing, processing etc
- Develop and maintain data pipelines implementing ETL processes
- Partner closely with data and BI team
- Support with data governance policies
About You
- Proven experience in Azure Data Factory, SQL Server and Snowflake
- Strong understanding of ETL methodology
- Good knowledge of non-structured database solutions
- Experience in Data Modelling and Data Development
