PM/Portfolio Manager

We are working with a global financial institution to recruit a highly experienced Project Manager Lead to join a dynamic transformation programme within Market Operations. Based in Belfast, this role offers the opportunity to contribute to a multi-year strategic initiative focused on redesigning and delivering a future-state operating model across risk, controls, compliance, automation, data, and technology. You'll be part of a global financial institution undergoing significant change, with a strong emphasis on people development, inclusion, and innovation.
Key Responsibilities

• Provide oversight and governance across a portfolio of transformation programmes and projects.
• Develop and maintain end-to-end programme plans, tracking progress and managing changes.
• Lead governance processes and ensure robust risk management across the change portfolio.
• Manage budgeting, prioritisation, and initiation of new projects.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
• Collaborate with risk and control functions to ensure compliance and mitigate change-related risks.

Essential Criteria

• Extensive project management experience, ideally within financial services.
• PMP certification preferred; Six Sigma is a plus.
• Proven ability to manage complex project plans, deadlines, and deliverables.
• Strong understanding of project metrics, reporting, and trend analysis.
• Skilled in managing scope changes and assessing impacts on budget, timelines, and risk.
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite, MS Project, Visio, and Adobe Acrobat Professional.
• Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred.
