Infrastructure Engineer - 12 Month FTC (Up to £85k)

• Contract : 12 Month - Fixed Term
• Contract Rate: Up to £85k (based on candidate experience)
• Hybrid Model: 2 days per week in Central London, 3 days remote

About the Client and the Role:

My client, a highly renowned globally operating law firm are seeking an experienced Infrastructure Engineer with strong knowledge of on-prem technologies to join the team responsible for ongoing maintenance of the infrastructure across the enterprise.

Responsibilities will include (but not restricted to) installing, configuring, maintaining, supporting, troubleshooting, monitoring, and optimizing infrastructure (such as datacentre, storage and compute hardware), resources, virtualisation solutions and associated software and cloud services.

Key Responsibilities/Candidates Requirement:

• Maintaining complex systems; Servers, on-prem h ardware, software and cloud services
• Monitoring infrastructure ( SolarWinds/MS SCOM )
• Implement ation and support of MS technologies (Azure, MS Defender)
• Supporting datacentre technology
• Supporting the deployment and automation of solutions (CI/CD pipelines)
• Scripting technologies, including MS PowerShell, Ansible and Bicep
• Using virtualization technologies including VMWare and MS Hyper-V
• Experience with HPE ProLiant Servers, StoreOnce and 3PAR SAN
• Server Compute, Active Directory, Storage, Virtualisation & key infrastructure management tech
• Storage/Disaster Recovery Management
