Information Security Engineer (Infrastructure) - 12 Month FTC (Up to £85k)

• Contract: 12 Month - Fixed Term
• Contract Range (based on candidate experience): £75 to £85k
• Hybrid Model: 2 days per week in Central London, 3 days remote

About the Client and Role:

My client, a highly renowned globally operating law firm are seeking an experienced Infrastructure Security Engineer with strong practical knowledge and experience with Information Security to provide hands on input in implementing InfoSec throughout the clients infrastructure.

Essential Skills & Experience:

• Ideally 10+ years IT experience including both IT infrastructure and information security roles
• Strong infrastructure engineer with very strong knowledge of security standards and frameworks (ISO27001)
• Experience working on Vulnerability Management & Penetration Testing activities
• Strong skill in Scripting technologies including PowerShell, Ansible and Bicep
• In-depth understanding of SCCM, VMWare, Hyper-V, Citrix etc.
• Ability to conduct research into infrastructure issues and products as required
• Self-starter with strong interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills
• Ability to engage colleagues at levels and project a solid, professional attitude consistently
• Experience working within a structured architectural and change management

Desirable knowledge of:

• Antivirus solutions

• Remote access solutions
• Network security solutions
• SaaS, IaaS, PaaS and DaaS
• DR Management
• Data privacy laws
