Java Developer - SC cleared (12 Months Contract)

Rates are Negotiable £650 to £750  (Inside IR35 )/

Must have current SC clearance or SC clearance within the last 12 months. If so, this ones for you!

We are actively looking  for a Java Developer to join the project of a Global Consultancy to work for one of their end clients.

Requirements

Java programming experience

ideally utilising Spring Boot to develop microservices

 Experience of working in an Agile environment.

Comfortable using Linux or Unix

Configuration Management tools such as Git, Mercurial or SVN, and a modern IDE

Capable of working in an agile development environment, both as part of a team and individually

Have experience applying TDD/BDD approaches

Enjoy working in a dynamic, fast paced environment, collaborating with others, contributing to design and estimating discussions and utilising strong stakeholder management skills

Not required, but it would be awesome if you have worked in a client facing environment

Hold industry relevant certifications

Have managed teams and/or worked across multiple projects

Have experience parsing complex XML files (ideally SWIFT files)

Have experience in any of the following; Apigee, API (Creation and Control/Gateway).

Working knowledge of Jackson, JAX-RS, mocking frameworks such as Mockito, and messaging platforms such as ActiveMQ or Kafka.

• Experience of MongoDB or other document databases.

• Experience of building and scaling high-traffic websites.

• Experience of handling large data sets and scaling their handling and storage.
