Product Manager - Plug&Charge Market & Technology

We are looking for a Product Manager to join our team dedicated to making positive change, transforming an industry and helping our planet towards acceleration of eMobility and Net Zero.

The purpose of the role is to create exceptional customer experiences across all Electric Vehicle charging solutions, through delivery of awesome and inspiring chargers for use in home, public, commercial, and fleet environments.

This role will focus on EV Charging Plug&Charge, ISO15118 market & partnerships, technology, and product development.

What you'll be doing:

• Supporting in defining the product strategy for bp pulse Plug&Charge, its public Key infrastructure and ISO15118 technology for EV charging ecosystems
• Building and maintaining strong relationships with Plug&Charge and ISO15118 ecosystem stakeholders both internal and external including public Key infrastructure providers, pool providers, certification authorities, charging stations OEMs, Mobility operators, Charge point operators and car OEMs
• Defining roadmaps for Plug&Charge and ISO15118, including V2G energy management features for public charging, fleet and home
• Using cases and requirements for backend development teams' delivery and rollout
• Supporting the delivery teams in the process definition, backend architecture development, API integration, database models, authentication models, E2E testing with OEMs, MOs and CPOs
• Delivering bp Pulse OKRs on product management relevant to Plug&Charge and ISO15118
• Support venture and M&A projects including screening, origination, pitching and deals

Your experience might include:

• A degree or Masters degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or other relevant fields
• Public key infrastructure, cryptosystems, identity management, requirement engineering and product management
• Developing electric mobility charging solutions including communication protocols and charger technology
• Working knowledge or experience in Plug&Charge, OCPP, OCPI and ISO15118 implementation
• Knowledge in vehicles technology and battery systems, microgrids, V2G, V2B, V2H
• Execution of scalable business development and ambitious product roadmaps design and implementation, including launching new products and continuous feature delivery to enhance customer experience and drive business results
• Expertise in customer and product centric design methods and taking concepts from ideation through to execution
