Contract term: Permanent, Full Time
Salary offered: £35,000 per annum (non-negotiable)
Working hours: Monday to Friday; 09:00 - 17:30
This role offers a hybrid working model: 2 days from office and 3 days from home

Key Responsibilities
• Diagnose and resolve software and hardware incidents
• Analyse and evaluate computer network design, operating systems and/or business requirements
• Prepare reports, correspondence and other documents
• Carry out in-depth research to reveal new and better methods of handling functions within the department
• Install and configure new IT equipment; resolve incidents and upgrade different types of software and hardware
• Take ownership of issues by carrying out problem analysis to implement temporary or permanent fixes with the aim of restoring service as soon as possible
• Perform regular IT audits to discover areas of weaknesses and reinforce them
• Assist all users with any IT related incident as require; supervise repair and maintenance of all IT gadgets
• Lead or participate in projects as required
Experience
• Minimum 4 years previous experience in IT support
• Good understanding of IT client infrastructure operations
• Practical knowledge of IP networks, subnets and VLANs
• Knowledge of internal and perimeter (firewall) security configuration and practices
• Knowledge of general IT security practices and willingness to constantly update knowledge
• Ability to troubleshoot issues quickly and find solutions to solving them independently in a timely manner
