Job Title: Platform Architect

Salary: Up to £70k (Based on Candidate Experience) + Company Benefits (including a 75% reduction on UK rail travel for work & leisure)

Hybrid Model: 50% remote, 50% Central London office

About the Client and the Role:

Due to continuous growth, my client, a leading transport company, is seeking a Platform Architect to provide expert input related to the architecture of their internal platform, with the overall goal of improving the usage, and adding value to the service.

Main Responsibilities:

• Producing, maintaining, and reviewing Reference Architecture for integration
• Setting Policies and Principles by which client will provide services (eg APIs and other data)
• Directing how to make the most of platform capabilities for optimum usage and value of the integration platform
• Provide experience-based recommendations on integration platform improvements and usage
• Reviewing and challenging internal and external resources on technical designs
• Translate complex technical platform capabilities to non-technical stakeholders
• Ensuring platform security is implemented in line with Information Security requirements and guidelines
• Ensure application changes and deliverables through the integration platform are in line with roadmaps
• Provide expert guidance and advice to new and existing users of the integration platform

Candidate Requirements:

• Demonstrable experience of producing, maintaining, and reviewing Reference Architecture
• Knowledge and experience of general and API-based security (eg principles of authentication and authorisation through Identity Access Management (IAM)
• Experience with delivering solutions through MuleSoft Anypoint platform
• Experience with delivering solutions through AWS
• Understanding of Security Requirements & Standards (desirable)
