Permanent Salary: £80 to £110k (negotiable, based on candidate experience)
Contract Day Rate: £550 to £700 Inside IR35 (negotiable, based on candidate experience)
Working Model: Hybrid, approximately 2 days per week in Central London
About the Role:
In this role, you'll be working via one of the UK's most ambitious and quickest growing consultancies on a major Splunk related project for one of the planet's top 10 largest and most highly respected banks.
It will require you to apply advanced Splunk engineer skills and SME knowledge of Splunk Enterprise and Security, in-order to provide guidance throughout this, and many other major Splunk projects. You will also work alongside internal teams, management and stakeholders and be responsible for identifying requirement, the planning and delivery across cross-portfolio programs and services, and to successfully deliver related projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Point of contact for Splunk Enterprise related information
- Acting as Splunk SME throughout all stages of the client's project delivery
- Providing accurate and easy to understand consultancy throughout projects
- Design and implement Splunk solutions (including log ingestions from various sources)
- Providing hands-on engineering during the delivery of Splunk and security solutions when required
Candidate Requirements:
- Splunk SME: Strong experience and advanced technical knowledge throughout life cycle of Splunk implementation
- Advanced experience and knowledge of Splunk Enterprise
- Experience and knowledge of working within an IT Consultancy environment
- Proven experience designing, architecting and implementing Splunk solutions within large organisations
- Strong ability to provide clear, easy to understand answers for technical and non-technical persons
- Proven experience delivering projects
- Strong experience in consultant/engineer positions (ideally security focused)
- Vast knowledge of infrastructure and wide range of technology, processes etc.
- Splunk Certifications (Desirable)
- Related Security Qualifications/Certifications (Desirable)
