WHAT TO EXPECT

As JLR products become increasingly complex, software driven, and enabled through the use of AI/ML, it becomes increasingly important to apply a data driven approach during development and testing. ADAS is at the front of this wave of change.

Our ADAS team have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Full Stack Web Developer to join a scrum team enabling the use of data in testing and development. You will design and implement a web based platform which enables the wider engineering community to apply data driven methods for verification and validation.

To handle the necessary volumes of data and variety of internal customers you will need to work on cloud native applications with a combination of progammatic and graphical interfaces. As a senior developer you will not only be expected to perform as an effective developer, but you will also be leading the development and progression of peers in both your team and and adjacent teams through a combination of training, coaching and mentoring.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED

Knowledge, Skills, and Experience

As a Full Stack Web Developer you will have the ability to write clean code that is efficient to maintain, adapt and run. You will have extensive experience in cloud native data intensive applications, Python and web development.

You will have extensive experience of code testing frameworks as well as having the ability to take ownership and responsibility for the quality, maintainability, and security of the product.

You will be someone that has experience of progressing and developing colleagues, as well as enabling development pathways for junior and experienced developers. You will be someone that can work as part of an agile scrum team and can identify opportunities for the use of new tools and methods.

Desirable:
Experience using AWS, GCP and Azure
Experience using Django and Flask
