About the opportunity:

We are recruiting a Data Assessment Team Member to join our existing Managed Data Analysis Team and are looking for a highly diligent and reliable person who will be fully trained in the required processes of data analysis.

You will be part of a team of 11 people that provides fully managed data analysis support for specialist inspections at power stations. You will not have to travel to the power stations as all the work is done from our Knutsford office or from home. During inspections of the reactors the team covers a 24 hr shift pattern including night shift and extended days, which will include weekend work. Between inspections the team work a standard 5 day week. Salary enhancements are applicable outside of normal working hours.

You will be working in a regulated industry where the highest standards of quality and professionalism are always expected. An ability to communicate effectively with clients and operate as part of a wider team will be essential to the role.

In joining us you will be part of a highly motivated team focused on a process of continuous improvement to offer our client an ever-improving service to keep the existing fleet of nuclear power stations safely operating.

Key Responsibilities include:

Accurate and timely analysis of data and production of reports critical to the operation of existing power stations.
Working in a close knit team to ensure a highly professional service is delivered.
Meet the client needs to deliver this important service, including undertaking periods of shift rotas for weekend work, plus day and night shift cover.
Process data through defined processes and completing final reports on the conclusions of the data (training is provided on the processes to be followed)
Ensure the highest quality standards are followed in undertaking the data analysis and completing the required documents.Essential:
Specific engineering qualifications are not required, but a good level of maths and English is needed.
Experience in an engineering environment, or in another industry with high focus on quality processes and data analysis
Strong focus on client delivery
Excellent attention to detail and understanding of the importance and application of good quality assurance behaviours
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel

Desirable:
An appreciation of engineering principles would be desirable
Experience within the nuclear industry is not critical

Reliability and a commitment to produce work to a high standard
Flexible on working hours
