Role Purpose: To work closely with Client's customers to analyse business and systems requirements to optimise configuration of the Client's flagship risk exposure management software.
Main responsibilities: Working as part of a delivery and product road-mapping team, the Systems Analyst will:
- Develop an understanding of how the client's impact specifically supports business processes
- Configure the application to support client requirements, with minimum support from more experienced analysts.
- Assist in the analysis requirements, functions and procedures to determine the most effective business systems technology that meets the needs of specific customers.
- Assist in establishing specifications and acceptance criteria based on requirements, with a low level of support from more experienced analysts.
- Assist in building a joint understanding of the requirements across the other stakeholders (other analysts, developers, testers, project management, product owners).
- Provide input on estimates to their Lead Analyst.
- Manage expectations and consulting/problem-solving to entrench relationships built on trust and delivery
- Execute training for clients and other team members.
- Assist with planning and actively support pilot projects and roll-out tasks.
- Review (with the assistance of more experienced analysts) the coverage of tests executed by the QA team.
- Assist during the execution of User Acceptance Testing.
Qualifications
We can consider a range of levels to hire against, but minimum qualification would be a degree (or equivalent software-led diploma) in systems/business analysis, or a supporting area of information systems

- Strong technical and SQL skills.
- Experience working in an analysis role, with understanding of the SDLC and testing
- Understanding of process design and documentation methodologies.
- Configuration experience - ability to rapidly understand how the application can be used and configured.
- An understanding of how to perform testing of the application with hands-on experience in testing.
- client-facing capabilities (experience in working for software providers, systems integrators or software consultancies)
