Business Analyst - Asset Manager

Business Analyst / Trade Operations Analyst (SQL) *Hybrid WfH*. Do you have an advanced knowledge of financial trading instruments from a buy-side perspective? You could be progressing your career in a senior role at a hugely profitable Asset Management firm with multiple trillion dollars under management.

As a Business Analyst you will collaborate with Investment Research and Portfolio Construction stakeholders to scope each mini project, gather requirements, carry out systems, data analysis, data source discovery and provide training and support as needed.

You'll interact with and become a trusted advisor to investment professionals across the business with exposure to a wide range of asset classes. You'll pro-actively identify issues and opportunities for improved methods and approaches to support investment processes.

There' a remote interview and onboarding process as well as the ability to work from home in a hybrid model with 2 days in the London office and 3 days work from home.

Requirements:
*You have a good knowledge of financial instruments such as stocks, bonds, swaps, options, futures, forwards, derivatives and FX as well as investment data concepts such as holdings, transactions, analytics and performance attribution
*You have good SQL skills, proficient with Excel and VBA
*You have experience with at least one market data platform such as Bloomberg, FactSet, Eikon / Datastream
*You have advanced analysis and problem solving skills
*You're a skilled communicator, pragmatic and confident with excellent written and documentation skills
