We are currently looking for a Product Manager to join our National Mapping Services team. At OS, we believe work is something you do, not somewhere you go. We embrace a hybrid working model where we believe the choice is with the individual on when they work from our fantastic offices in Southampton or London, or from home. You will join us on a full-time, permanent basis and in return, you will receive a competitive salary of £42,483 - £49,980per annum.

About theProduct Managerrole:

We have a Product Manager vacancy available to support our National Mapping Services business which is a pivotal role to shape and deliver the OS product roadmap to support our ambition as a critical digital business providing customers and partners with relevant, world class services, products, data and experiences. This P&I team is at the heart of our business, helping us realise our ambition and purpose as a world leading geospatial data organisation.

You will define and deliver data products, services and platforms to fulfil user-centric propositions, balancing market demand, technical feasibility and affordability with a focus on great user experience. To achieve this, you will employ user-centred design, continuous customer engagement and market analysis.

You will act as an authority on customer priorities throughout the delivery process, setting a vision for the product and driving relevant feedback to inform continuous improvement.

What we're looking for in our Product Manager:

  • An excellent understanding of customer needs and market insight and ability to translate this into a strategy and roadmap for future product development
  • Excellent product ownership skills with experience championing your products and propositions internally and externally to ensure the execution of marketing communications, product-led investment programmes and sales engagement to achieve within-year revenue targets
  • Experience of building and maintaining effective relationships with operational and customer facing colleagues and external partners to deliver product enhancements within expected service and revenue targets
  • Good knowledge of user-centred design and driving engagement with key customers, partners and external stakeholders to ensure that product plans reflect a deep understanding of customer needs and market insights
  • Commitment to relevant professional development and market understanding to continue to provide the appropriate support to the business
