Role: Trainee IT Technician

Tailor Made Sourcing are excited to be working with a forward thinking, progressive and growing retail company based in Colne. They are seeking a Trainee IT Tehnician to join their team.

You will be a dynamic individual, who has an aptitude for IT technology. You may have gained relevant IT experience at college, or via self-teaching, or have several years' experience working in an IT based role. You help provide support across 6 sites, this is an exciting opportunity for somebody who is just starting out in their IT career and wants to develop their skills within a reputable company.

The Role:

• Being an integral part of the IT Team, helping to ensure the effective running of the IT function
• Maintaining and monitoring IT systems, applications and infrastructure
• Providing IT help and support for all of our colleagues and stores
• Installation of new infrastructure, hardware, software and upgrades
• Assisting with the management and delivery of IT projects and key initiatives
• Ensuring that IT security and system standards are maintained and developed
• Assisting with all other general IT housekeeping tasks

About You:

• Ideally have IT experience whether its self-taught, education, or work experience
• Experience in the following; PC hardware & peripherals, Networking, Servers
• Experience in Microsoft products including 365, Windows 10, Office and Active Directory
• Worked with Cloud and virtual technologies and SQL
• Have excellent interpersonal and communications skills
• Have a professional and positive attitude
• Be proactive and flexible
• Possess an analytical mind, be a problem solver and have good trouble-shooting skills
• Be passionate about IT
• Have a strong desire to learn and progress
• Must have full UK driving licence
