Front End Engineer

I am working with a digital agency on an urgent requirement to help them to find a new Front End engineer, who will be working on a high profile government project. It is essential that you have/are in process for SC Clearance.

Responsibilities:

• Developing an Angular-based web Front End within a full stack web product.
• Interacting directly with the product owner to design & refine Front End web designs.
• Coordinating with other developers in the team to define, create and consume RESTful web services.
• Contribute to delivery timescales implementation and cost estimates together based on proposed architecture/design and risks.
• Presenting and depicting the rationale of findings in simple, engaging and easy to understand business terms to a diverse group of stakeholders.

Essential Skills:

• 5 years+ experience of Front End web applications development in an Agile Environment.
• In depth knowledge Javascript, HTML, CSS & Angular (2+, preferably 8 and up)
• Knowledge of Web UI frameworks such as Bootstrap
• Experienced with microservice driven architecture.
• Proven experience of implementing Angular unit testing of software, behaviour-Driven Development and/or Test-Driven Development.
• Comfortable with user experience and accessibility design
• Experience working with Git for source control management
• Presentation skills; presence and credibility in front of customers.
• Strong background in development interfacing with RESTful Web Services.

• £550-600 per day
