What will you be doing?
- Assess applications using our underwriting framework, reviewing data from various internal and external sources
- Apply consistent attention to detail, helping to maintain the credit quality of our loan book whilst achieving our commercial
- Provide a best-in-class experience for our borrowers by reviewing all loan applications efficiently and in accordance with our internal quality standards
- Liaise with various internal stakeholders on applications in progress, dealing with amendments as requested and escalating issues as appropriate
- Provide feedback and recommendations on how we can improve our assessment process and borrower experience
- Keen to develop further in a credit team after some experience in credit analysis (Ideally SME lending)
- An inquisitive mind-set, openness to change, willingness to challenge the status quo and a great work ethic
- Strong analytical, decision-making, and communication skills
