Executive Consultant - Cloud Services Architect

• We are looking for an exceptional individual to drive our cloud service strategy and business development. The Cloud Services Architect will be responsible for the shaping of our cloud service proposition and sub propositions focusing on the success of our Network Services Vision, direction of Cloud core competencies.

• The Cloud Services Architect will represent the company at senior customer level, maintain relationships with principal cloud consultants and senior cloud engineers within the business unit, and support future business development and the sale of cloud services.

• You will have a background as a Cloud and Data Centre Architect with experience gained across several market verticals, ideally including Financial, Media, Telecom and Utility sectors. You will have strong business and management skills to enable and support on an ongoing basis customer discussion at a business and technical level.

• You will have a creative mind to develop new cloud consulting concepts and propositions, strong written and communication skills, and be a strong presenter.

• You will provide cloud service-related business development across all verticals. You will be involved in pre-sales, bid tenders, cloud service design, and commercial discussions. The business will call upon your input to set strategy around Datacentre, Cloud, Virtualisation, Storage and Automation.

• You will proactively attend conferences and workshops and develop relationships with strategic vendors and channel partners to promote us as a potential collaboration organisation.

• You will actively promote and help facilitate technical workshops, training sessions with the support of the Cloud Chief Architect for technical resource in the field. You will provide service-based input and direction on cloud training to aid in staff development.

• You will develop relationships with our Key technical resources included but not limited to cloud chief architect, principal cloud consultants, senior cloud engineers and practice managers to support and input in the provision of appropriate training and development for our Networks workforce.

We require someone who has:

1. 10 years minimum relevant cloud and data centre experience
2. ability to drive disparate requirements into a packaged solution
3. ability to drive multi-cloud strategy
4. strong technical background, understanding of cloud technologies, applications, and databases
5. ability to talk at a business level to CXO/board members, talking about business problems and technical solutions
6. has an end to end understanding of cloud technologies, data centres, applications, and database/s.
7. undertake high level consulting on a part time basis <30% - typically this would short high-level consulting engagements and or presences at technical steering committees for our customers
8. support for Pre-sales meeting
9. ability to prepare and present bid responses
10. ability to develop new consulting capability within the customer.
