I am shortlisting for a Permanent IT Manager for my prestigious and boutique Global Oil & Gas Operator Client based in Mayfair, London. The candidate must be able to show skills in supervising and supporting teams and delivering projects in a timely fashion. Plus a knowledge of MS tools and cloud would be beneficial.The client's IT department is made up of the on-site First-Line teams (3 locations approx. 1100 users - ops managed via tickets) and Group IT Support. The primary responsibility for the IT Manager is to manage the operations of the on-site teams and to ensure it aligns with the business objectives, Group IT standards and the strategy of the organisation. The IT Manager will plan, coordinate, direct, and design all operational activities of the IT department, as well as provide direction and support for IT solutions that enhance mission-critical business operations.The role also offers an attractive salary, with benefits. No remote working is considered for this role now restrictions have changed.Team supervision with a strong focus on on-site First-Line (3 locations)• Provide effective leadership and line management to the UK-wide IT team whilst working closely with Group IT team based in France to ensure excellent service levels and effective solutions for all stakeholders.• Ensure daily operations follow the Group's directions and guidelines.• Coordinate multidisciplinary work teams and ensure effective two-way communication with teams.• Manage, motivate and develop the UK IT team, including recruitment, supervision, scheduling, development, evaluation, and support HR where necessary.• Set, monitor and report on KPIs and SLAs for the First-Line teams on each site.• Guarantee timely deliveries of the IT projects. Key responsibilities• Manage, in line with the IT Group's strategy, the deployment, maintenance, upgrade, and support of all IT systems and infrastructure including servers, operating systems, hardware and communication networks.• Support budgets reviewing and controlling for the department and ensure they comply with stated goals, guidelines, and objectives.• Ensure the security and integrity of all systems and infrastructure within the UK sites.• Ensure regular security audits are carried out, report on results and ensure risks identified are remediated.• Manage the IT department operational and strategic planning, including business requirements, project planning, and allocation of resources.• Review the performance of IT systems in line with Group requirements.• Support the negotiation of vendor, outsourcer, and consultant contracts (in collaboration with theHR team) and service agreements.• Review and implement all IT policies.• Asset managementShould you be interested in this great opporubntity then please get in touch for a confidential conversation.t
