Cyber Security Officer

Cyber Security Officer - £45k to £48k - Cardiff - Hybrid Working

Our client is looking for an experienced Cyber Security Officer to join ASAP on a Permenant full time basis. You will be responsible for the management of the Platform team from a workload and people management perspective.

You will also ensure that the underlying technologies supporting the applications are delivered and supported to support the growing business.

** Hybrid working - 1/2 days a week on site **

Knowledge/Experience

• Extensive experience in Cloud-hosting (Azure, AWS - IaaS, PaaS), and third-party cloud based solutions (SaaS)

• Business process automation, integrating different systems to deliver a streamlined user experience

• Strong understanding of Technology Risk Management, Governance and Controls

• Good understanding of Project Management principles, and Change Management

• Experience with regulatory compliance issues, as well best practices in application and network security.

• Working knowledge of Microsoft stacks.

• Working knowledge of Cisco and HP based network communications technology, High availability and disaster recovery architecture, communication, and related technologies

Competencies

• 10+ years relevant experience

• Prior experience working in Financial Services desirable

• Experience of First and/or Second-charge and/or Mortgage lending highly desirable

• Knowledge of PCI-DSS an advantage, together with other regulatory and compliance knowledge/experience

• Must have a solid understanding of Technology Risk Management and Controls Testing.

Qualifications

• Microsoft Azure related qualifications (desirable)

• Cisco related qualifications (desirable)

• HP Aruba related qualifications (desirable)
