Mobile Developers (iOS and Android) - to £55,000 plus bonus - Sheffield - South Yorkshire - WFH Hybrid

Superb opportunity for experienced Mobile Software Developers (all experience levels) to join a niche software development team developing their flagship suite of mobile applications comprising of native iOS and Android applications.

As Mobile Engineers you will have experience with iOS or Android development (ideally both), be familiar with at least two of Swift, Kotlin, Objective-C and Java and OO languages and principles, have experience interfacing with REST APIs, deployments on the App Store or Play Store and ideally have experience in working on a SaaS suite, and planning development to deliver features to multiple customers across different products.

Summary of technologies & tools used (although some training can be provided, it's a great opportunity should you have a passion wo learn and work with the below skills:-

iOS: - Swift and UIKit, with some legacy code in Objective-C / Swift Package Manager / Core Data

Android: - Kotlin, with some legacy code in Java / Gradle / Realm / Android Architecture Components

Across both:- Git and GitFlow / GitHub for source control and code review / Bitrise for automated builds

You will be writing code in a team and reviewing the code of others to ensure quality, prioritising, planning, and coordinating development activities. You will be working with UI/UX Designers, QA Engineers, DevOps Engineers and Project Managers through all stages of the software development lifecycle, contributing to an end of project retrospectives, analysing the success of the project and any learning points, providing project estimation and risk assessments and working across technical departments to plan, implement and reflect upon the best practices, processes and methods.
