Backend Software Engineer Python Django API

Backend Software Engineer / Technical Lead (Django API Cloud) *Remote / WfH*. Are you a technologist seeking a role where you can progress your career, taking a lead role on tech decisions and seeing the impact of your work?

You could be joining a fast growing site for UK holiday rentals that has seen unprecedented success in the last eighteen months.

As a Backend Software Engineer you will focus on backend development of the core platform with scalability and best practice in mind. You'll be working on a modern tech stack using Python, Django and working with complex APIs within a TDD environment using SOLID design principles and Pair Programming and will also gain exposure to GCP, Docker and Kubernetes. You'll be part of a collaborative team where you will influence technology choices and advocate best practice.

There's a remote interview and onboarding process as well as the ability to work fulltime, permanently from home, with the caveat that you'll meet up with the team in London around once a month, following social distancing measures.

Requirements:
*You have serverside Python development experience including Django
*You have worked with complex APIs
*You're familiar with cloud based environments, GCP would be great but AWS also good; Docker; Kubernetes
*You're collaborative with great communication skills, keen to take a technical lead role and happy to mentor others
