Great opportunity for a Senior DevOps Engineer to join a well-established company with a rapidly growing division in London. As one of the largest trading firms, this company is looking for an experienced DevOps engineer with at least five years of hands-on experience, to join a group of like-minded, technically skilled individuals.

With the choice to either work remotely or in their London office, this company is looking for an outstanding individual to join their DevOps team. The company prides themselves on their exceptional algorithmic trading skills within the financial market and has offices across the globe. They are looking for a methodological individual who can show strong critical thinking skills, alongside a demonstrated ability to find creative solutions to technical problems.

In this role you will take lead of building infrastructure tools and applications to support trading teams across the firm. You will be required to assemble large, complex data sets which meet non-functional and functional business requirements.

The Role:

• Have at least 5+ years DevOps experience
• Identify, design and implement internal process improvements
• Coordinating with global teams to understand their work requirements
• Writing highly efficient code that is scalable
• Establishing programming patterns and providing infrastructure for analysis/execution

The person:

• Has strong knowledge in language such as Python, C++
• Has experience in AWS and Azure
• Proficient in SQL and related databases
• Experience working in Linux environment
• Experience with Stock market data
