2x Support Developer Roles - Global Business - Training for Multivalue databases - Up to £35k - Part Remote

My client is a specialist at creating Digital Technology in electronics, tech and engineering industries. They are part of a Global Business that is strongly financially backed and full of lots of expertise. Your new role
They are looking for a Developer for the Information Services team who will be working in software support role. You will carry out, under guidance and supervision, software development and system support assignments of moderate complexity. Your support responsibilities will consist of both support and troubleshooting of a variety of Production systems, including their ERP that is built upon UniVerse, Python, Java and other web-based technologies (HTML, JavaScript, React), as well as small development projects that contribute to the robustness of these systems.

You will analyse, design, build, modify, debug and correct software applications and modules in support of business systems. You will work with scrum masters, managers, product owners, fellow developers, QA teams, senior staff and other key business stakeholders as required to deliver solutions.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Have knowledge of programming languages, data structures, algorithms, and software development patterns
  • Have the ability to translate and develop logic from technical specifications
  • Have knowledge and experience of developing computer software and can demonstrate knowledge of related concepts, practices, and processes
  • Have professional experience (0-3 years) in reading, developing, and troubleshooting software in languages such as: BASIC, C, C#, Java, JavaScript, Python, and SQL; and with mark-up languages such as HTML and XML
  • Have the ability to understand business needs
  • Possesses knowledge of aspects of computer technology outside of software development, including hardware, networking, operating systems, and database management systems
  • Possesses good verbal and written communication skills, as applied to both technical and non-technical subject matter
  • Have knowledge of one-or-more software development methodologies (e.g. Waterfall, Scrum)


Bonus points for:

  • Knowledge or experience of multi-value databases or NoSQL databases
  • Knowledge or experience of working with organisations that implement a distribution model
