Our client, a leading media organisation is looking hire a Project Manager to specialise in development and execution of their data projects. They will be partnering with senior stakeholders, including Analytics Managers to oversee, organise and prioritise incoming briefs and our roadmap, helping to manage the communication flow with Technology dependencies, key stakeholders, and the wider Analytics team.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide project management support to analytics leads to ensure delivery of key strategic analysis for the Analytics team
  • Build and manage clear roadmap for the team which can be discussed and agreed upon with key stakeholders
  • Ensure briefs from business are complete, contain relevant information and manage expectations regarding timeframes and prioritisation
  • Provide weekly summary on the status of key projects to circulate to stakeholders as agreed with Analytics Director
  • Review and evaluate current process and recommend and implement process improvements
  • Take responsibility for capacity planning with the Analytics Managers
  • Key point of contact for technical teams. Liaise on and track project dependencies and dates requirements
  • Responsible for managing communication flow on project status between analysts and stakeholders
  • Attend key project meetings and capture action points and circulate following meetings. Ensure timeframes are agreed, communicated and actions chased up
  • Naturally, as the business evolves the individual will need to show flexibility and adapt to new information, circumstances, and situations. It is vital that the postholder remains open-minded and nimble to accommodate new opportunities and solve ongoing challenges

Essential experience:

  • Previous project management experience
  • Proven track-record of building and managing a complex project roadmap across multiple stakeholders in a matrix organisation
  • Excellent stakeholder management communication skills
  • Highly organised and efficient
  • Ability to influence stakeholders at all levels
  • Flexible and able to adapt to business priorities and situations
  • Previous experience working with technical teams would be an advantage
  • Knowledge of Agile methodology would be preferable
