We are delighted to bring to the market this brilliant opportunity to work with a long serving client on an exclusive basis in the higher education sector. We are looking for a talented Data Solutions Architect to join a fantastic team in the journey of continuing a far-reaching digital transformation programme that is facilitating change throughout all departments & levels.

The Data Solution Architect will architect and design data and database systems in line with the overall enterprise data architecture and in accordance with the needs of the business.
You will lead the development of solution architectures for specific data systems, ensure that appropriate tools and methods are available and have responsibility for the design, procurement, installation, upgrading, operation, control, maintenance and effective use of IT data systems components and monitor their performance.

We are looking for somebody with the following:

• Experience with Azure/AWS
• Experience of Data Solution architecture in a large, complex organisation
• Experience of Data migrations
• Excellent analytical, strategic and execution skills
• Experience with SQL Server
• Significant knowledge of database management systems
• Experience with Oracle
• Understanding of Cyber-security within data and database technologies
