A rare and exciting opportunity has arisen for 2 x 1st Line Customer Support Technicians on a permanent basis in Truro due to growth within the company

On a day to day basis you will be responsible for:

- Acting as first point of contact for all support issues arising from a varied mix of interesting clients

- Delivering a friendly and effective response to inbound support requests

- Prioritising the nature of requests and resolving by following process guides initially or assigning to the appropriate teams and specialists as appropriate

- Communicating with customers via phone and digital comms channels

- Keeping the Service Desk system is updated accurately on a real-time basis

- Tracking issue progress to resolution to ensuring that the customer and teams are informed of progress

- Generating scheduled and and reactive performance and progress reports

- Enabling in-house fulfilment of first-line support including out of hours on a rota basis

If you have an interest in IT and / or Software applications this would be desirable along with a grasp of IT Industry terminology

This is a full time permanent role, where flexibility to work shift patterns is essential.

Shifts are spread across the hours of 7am to 11pm 7 days a week on a rota basis - 37 hrs a week

In return the company are offering an annual salary from £20k to £22k per annum
