Dynamics Nav Developer- About the Company:

My client are expanding and undergoing significant transformation across the group and have created a new role within their team for a Senior Dynamics Nav Developer and ideally some exposure to SQL Server, or PowerBi.

Dynamics Nav Developer - About the role:

The role is centred around developing Microsoft Dynamics NAV to include the various stages of the billing and invoicing process, integrating with other business systems and 3rd party applications where required. It will be part of an existing team of Nav Developers and other staff across the business, understanding process and help integration within the different businesses. The main focus of the role is to help streamline processes and consolidate systems.

The role will be home-based and be part of a virtual team - holding meetings via MS Teams.

The role will also involve managing data transformation and synchronization between platforms and creating custom code ( where required) to achieve integration.

Dynamics Nav Developer - Key Responsibilities:

Customise, design, and develop Nav solutions on multiple versions ( 2013 onwards)

Facilitate and manage data migrations between Nav systems

Present documented solutions for approval

Implement approved solutions

Integrate Nav with other third-party applications such as payroll

Creation of test plans and working with users to ensure adequate testing at each stage

Produce and maintain accurate documentation to support implementations, while maintaining best practice

Dynamics Nav Developer - Essential Technical Skills:

Candidates must have a some exposure to most of the technologies listed below:

Proven experience of developing Dynamics NAV systems

Experience of working in Scrum / agile methodologies

Some exposure to working with APIs, and data connections, and web services

Demonstrable experience of managing and facilitating data migrations between Nav systems

Able to adhere to relevant legal, regulatory & ISO Policies, Process Workflows , Codes of Conduct

Any exposure to PowerBi, SSIS, Dynamics CRM will all be of interest, but not essential
