My client based in Coventry is looking to hire a Senior C# developer to join their team. This is a newly created role that will see you working in a team of like minded developers working on business critical systems. This role can also be mostly remote the expectation is that you will be in the office just once or twice a month!

This role will see you:
* Working as part of the Development team to create and maintain customer portals and APis as well as looking after the backend integration of the systems
* Designing, developing and supporting internal web applications, external web based portals
* Defining and performing unit and systems testing for new and existing applications as well as acceptance testing and results reporting.
* Working as part of the Technical Development team, the web developer will be responsible for the
* Monitoring web servers, database servers and optimise systems to provide the best user experience and hardware utilisation.
* Working in a team of developer to create clean robust and reusable code.

The ideal candidate will have the following skills:
Proven experience in:
* Microsoft .NET C# web applications using MVC5
* Entity Framework 6
* Microsoft SQL Server
* Git version control
* Unit testing with xUnit
* SOAP / Web Services / REST APIs (both server and client side)
* HTML / CSS
* Javascript / JQuery

Any experience of the following would also be highly beneficial but not essential:
* Amazon Web Services (EC2 and RDS)
* Hubspot, ServiceNow, GIS (API integrations)
* Experience with JIRA issue tracking and project management
* Client side Javascript frameworks, e.g. React
* TDD / Agile / Dependency Injection / CI / CD
* Web and Graphical design
* Experience with .NET core
* Docker containers and container hosting
* General awareness of IP networking
