Transition Partners are delighted to partner with a well-established managed service provider who is on the lookout for a 3rd Line Service Desk Engineer to join their diverse and growing team.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Responsible for supporting the networks of existing clients
  • Supporting their on-premises infrastructure
  • Dealing with 3rd line escalations of more high level and critical support issues
  • Provide technical support both onsite and remotely
  • Handle issues escalated from the service desk
  • Maintain long-lasting client relationships and manage expectations
  • Manage and develop the desk system and KPI Reporting
  • Manage and build Customer Backups and Frameworks/Monitoring
  • Produce and maintain complete client documentation, ensuring all changes and amendments are accurately recorded

Skills needed:

  • A proven track record of working in a busy technical environment
  • IT networks; VLANS, Layer 2 & 3, Firewalls (Sonicwall, Draytek and UniFi)
  • Physical and Virtual Servers; Hyper-V, VM Ware and SAN Infrastructure
  • Cloud-based technologies such as M365 & Azure
  • Intune, Azure AD & other Modern Workplace items
