This is a hands on role combining 2nd line technical support with the opportunity to improve systems, automate processes and help colleagues work more effectively. What you'll do Provide 2nd line support for business systems, resolving incidents and service requests Support and advise users, helping them get the most from technology Gather requirements and help design technology-led process improvements Build and support workflows and automation to reduce manual effort Support system upgrades, new deployments and integrations Help develop reports and enable self-service access to data Promote best practice around data quality, security and compliance Create documentation and deliver user training where needed Work with suppliers and partners to resolve issues Contribute to ICT projects and research new solutions Provide occasional out of hours support where required What we're looking for Essential Practical experience in an ICT or business systems support role Strong working knowledge of Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Word, Excel, SharePoint, Teams, PowerApps) Good understanding of data protection and information security Strong problem solving, communication and customer service skills Ability to analyse business requirements and identify improvement opportunities Desirable Experience in local government, housing or public-sector systems Advanced Excel skills Experience with automation, workflows or reporting Knowledge of Microsoft 365 development or architecture Why join us?
