Job Description: A new position for network management which includes security, IPT and video conferencing services in Europe, CIS, Middle East and Africa. One of the world’s leading organisations needs to provide support to customers’ using Network circuits, VPN, VoIP, Video conference and other services over a secure network. Customers are based over 150 sites and are spread throughout the EMEA and CIS region. Knowledge/Experience * Implementation and Operation Data centre Network (LAN) and Wide area network(WAN) above 7 years’ experience. * Network design, configuration, integration & installation of the Data centre network (LAN) and wide area network (WAN) for the clients’ subsidiary with Cisco and various vendor load balancer devices. * * Experience of implementation and operation for large complex Data Centre network and large office Wan network with various vendor network devices such as Cisco, Juniper and Load valance hardware vendor * Experience of Tier-3 network support in a 24x7 hosted * Experience with Quality of Service in various data/voice network implementations. You will be working with next generation data centres, software defined networks, workloads in private & public cloud environments and required to be part of an on call rota. Providing expertise to Aerospace, Automotive, Defence, Energy, Life Sciences, Railway and Telecoms by developing the products and services that tomorrow has to offer and combining technologies across sectors. I am looking for a Principal Architect to work for a market leading organisation and support design within critical national infrastructure. The Principal Architect is responsible for providing architecture designs and direction to the systems engineering and design teams. They must have the following skills: * Systems of systems architecture experience * Experience of large scale integration programs * Service Oriented architecture and design * Experience of Security including design and assurance activities relating to security * Systems engineering skills including Requirements management, * Model Based Systems Engineering * Project and programme management including the ability to carry out technical planning of cost and schedule and management of risks and opportunities. * Logistic support including reliability and availability analysis and design for sustainability * Performance/capacity analytics and modelling * Knowledge of ITIL and Service operation management * Experience in Enterprise architecture e.g. TOGAF * Safety analysis including Failure mode analysis * Knowledge of systems/service transition * High level concepts of software engineering * High level concepts of Integration and Test * Experience running technical reviews * Design analysis and trade study experience * Ability to provide technical leadership both in the designs and the systems engineering technical processes. For this position the Desktop Support Engineer will be responsible for working on customer site to refresh & install desktops with Windows 10. You will liaise with customers on site to ensure that the refreshes are completed to minimise impact to staff. You will be required to travel to customer sites with IT equipment (expenses covered) but you must therefore own a car and have a full clean driving licence. You will be experienced with desktop refreshes to Windows 10 and a strong background with migrating and installation of desktops. Office 2010 experience is also required as part of the role. You will also be able to demonstrate a strong customer service led background. This role is to start ASAP and will pay £175 per day (ltd/umbrella) with expenses covered in addition for travel. The Systems Design Authority will be responsible for engaging in at the preparation for the PDR stage of the project and will be a key member of the design process as the design progresses. The Systems Design Authority (SDA) will be expected to oversee the integrity of engineered and documented designs. Owning the assigned design baselines is an essential to this role as they would be expected represent the engineering disciplines during the high pressure project environment. Therefore meaning the SDA would have to ensure that all designs are adequate and meet the relevant customer requirement. Occasional travel to client sites may be needed. We are looking for a proactive, self-motivated and personable individual who will be responsible for supporting the IT Network infrastructure for a global organization. You will be a senior network engineer in a growing team. You will need to have an intermediate to advance proficiency in multiple IT systems and applications. This will include responsibilities such as installing and maintaining LAN/WAN/Wireless networks and devices, conducting circuit and traffic analysis and resolving latency or other performance issues, troubleshooting advance switching and routing issues, managing and troubleshooting firewall and DNS configurations. You will be working closely with service owners delivering service needs and SLA's. This means that excellent communication will be needed and exposure to stakeholder management. Essential skills & Experience Intermediate or higher knowledge of Network principles, technologies and services, including: * Cisco Routing, Switching and Wireless, (IOS/NXOS) * Load Balancing and WAN Optimization (F5 and Riverbed) * Switched Ethernet, Routing Protocols (BGP, EIGRP, OSPF) * Client-Based IPSec/SSL VPN, Site-Based IPSec VPN, DMVPN * WAN Circuit technologies (xDSL, Cable, MPLS, Metro Ethernet, T1, E1) * PIX/ASA Firewalls, IPS/IDS * Protocol Analysis (Netflow, SNMP, Syslog, Wireshark) * QoS, DNS, DHCP, Radius, TACACS+ * Network Security Technologies (Proxy/Content Filtering, ISE, CWS, MFA) Intermediate or higher knowledge of infrastructure technologies and services, which include: * Complex Systems Architecture * Storage Systems * IP Telephony and VoIP Basic or higher knowledge of infrastructure technologies and services, which include: * Microsoft Suite of Products * Microsoft server operating systems (2003, 2008, 2012) * Database Technologies * Backup/Archive Systems * Collaboration Technologies * IT Service Management best practices Required Skills * Bachelor's Degree preferably in IT or a related discipline or minimum of 5+ years working in an IT environment required * Cisco Certified Network professional (CCNP) or higher certification preferred * ITIL v3 Foundation certification a plus In return a salary of up to £50,000 is on offer, Plus other excellent benefits
