Platform/Infrastructure Engineer (Hyper-V & OpenShift) - Glasgow - 6+ months We're looking for an engineer to design, deploy, and support our virtualization and container platforms. You'll manage Hyper-V environments and Red Hat OpenShift clusters, automate operations, and help migrate workloads to modern container platforms. Responsibilities Build and maintain Hyper-V clusters, including live migration, replication, and capacity planning Deploy, upgrade, and operate OpenShift (OCP 4.x) clusters Support VM and container workloads, including OpenShift Virtualization Automate provisioning and configuration with Ansible, Terraform, and PowerShell Build CI/CD and GitOps pipelines (Jenkins, Tekton, ArgoCD) Monitor platform health and troubleshoot performance, networking, and storage issues Apply security and access controls (RBAC, SCC, patching) Plan and execute VMware-to-OpenShift migrations Document processes and support on-call rotations Required Skills 8+ years with Hyper-V, Windows Server, Failover Clustering, and SCVMM 8+ years with OpenShift/Kubernetes, Docker/Podman, and Helm Strong Linux (RHEL) administration Scripting in PowerShell, Bash, or Python Experience with Ansible, Git, and CI/CD tools Solid grasp of networking (DNS, VLANs, load balancing) and storage (CSI, ODF/Ceph) Nice to Have Java/Spring Boot, Go, or Python application experience Red Hat certifications (EX280, EX180) or CKA Azure Stack HCI, Azure, or AWS Prometheus, Grafana, ELK

ServiceNow Senior Technical Consultant - Glasgow - 2 days on-site, 6 months - £550 - 600 Act as the onshore technical lead for ServiceNow ITSM (HRSD also would be preferable), providing hands-on technical leadership across configuration, development, troubleshooting and platform enhancements. The role will lead technical delivery, translate requirements into technical solutions, configure and develop ServiceNow functionality, review technical designs and changes, troubleshoot complex incidents and defects, work with the ServiceNow Architect to maintain technical standards, and provide guidance and knowledge transfer to the offshore delivery team.
