2nd Line Support Engineer My client are a multi-site IT Managed Service Provider who’s success has led to the continued expansion of the organisation. They are currently looking for a 2nd Line Support Engineer to join their existing team. This is a permanent position working a 24/7 shift rota (2 days on 2 nights on 4 days off) As a member of the Support Services team, you will play a key role in the delivery of high quality technical support for the business and the customer, whilst delivering exceptional customer satisfaction and a personalised service. Job Type: Permanent The Position: The Senior Software Test Analyst position is based in Basingstoke. The role requires validating that applications conform to their specifications and correctly performs all required functions, as per product release, configuration and customer requirement documents. The Software Test Analyst will be responsible for test case / script preparation and test script execution activities for various client applications. To do this successfully you will need at least 3 to 5 years testing experience. Senior Test Analyst Person Specification: The right candidate should have knowledge of structured testing methodologies with an extensive and in-depth knowledge of testing techniques including, but not limited to system integration, regression, load, stress and acceptance testing. They should also have experience in writing test specifications, and test scripts. The ideal candidate will have a good working knowledge of several test tools including Visual Studio, Team Foundation Server and Microsoft Test Manager. They would be expected to have knowledge of test automation, preferably Coded UI, Selenium, SOAP/REST UI and JMeter. The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate at least 5 years’ experience in an IT Support / Helpdesk position. The IT Support Analyst will be required to provide user support on the systems that are used to run the business; these systems are predominately deployed on VMware / Citrix and Windows architecture, therefore knowledge of these technologies is important to the role. Are you an experienced engineer with project implementation experience based on clould technologies using MS Office 365 and Azure? In short my client are moving to cloud based tecnolgies and with this currently have a number of major projects. Part of your job will be to take their current email systems and move them across to Office 365, take their current QA Testing systems and move them to Azure. Once this is complete other projects will come thick and fast, relying heavlily on your skills focused around Office 365 and Azure. Day to day duties will involve BAU, Roadmaps, monitioting and support. Description: As part of a 3rd line infrastructure support/project implementation team this role will involve configuring, managing, monitoring and supporting VMWare hypervisor, NetApp storage and HP compute and Microsoft Cloud technologies. This role will be reporting into the IT Infrastructure Team Leader. For this role, a background in supporting Microsoft Server environments and enterprise software is required; for example, Microsoft Server O/S, Exchange, SharePoint, Active Directory, SCCM, and MDT. Azure and Office 365 implementation experience would be beneficial. Experience of working as part of a project implementation team is also an advantage.
