We are looking to appoint a Chief Officer – Digital & Communications to join our Leadership Team, to navigate the many challenges ahead of us and to lead some of our key services to support delivery across the Council and the Borough.
The Role
Chief Officer Digital & Communications is a fantastic opportunity to drive change and innovation across the service areas, lead a team of service managers and enable the organisation to deliver its strategic plans.
Reporting to our Chief Executive Officer and leading the portfolio, you will deliver a professional and modern ICT service to approximately 500 employees, across five locations through your ICT & Digital team. Corporate Communications and Customer Service are also key service areas within the Digital and Communications portfolio.
You will work with both internal and external stakeholders to deliver service area outcomes and manage a multi-million pound budget to drive increased digitisation and upgrade infrastructure. As a priority you will identify and implement new models of service delivery and embed new structures.

About the role:
The Business Intelligence Analyst will support our Business Intelligence Manager in providing a full range of reports and business performance analysis including, sales performance and predictions which compare with our budget and previous years’ success. Monitor marketing incentive results and tracking of Salesforce performance against set targets. There will also be a financial element when assisting in commission-based calculations
The company is rapidly developing and this role will require an individual who has the mindset to learn quickly, challenge processes for improvement and be able to analyze the reasons behind requests rather than simply the data itself. Understanding the reason why something is being asked and being confident enough to recommend a different approach if needed, to senior members of the business.
Responsibilities:
- Exporting data from both SAP and a CRM system
- Reviewing, monitoring and reporting on all KPI’s on a daily basis Continual development of the reporting suite
- Documenting all processes on how to run each report with visual aids. Must have the ability to “understand the story behind the data”
- Analysing all Salesforce levels of performance vs. targets. Proactively suggest how targets could be met.
- Identifying sale pattern and trends to identify good times to incentivize the sales force
- Able to explain and communicate data in a way for ‘non-data’ people to understand
About you:
- Advanced Microsoft Excel (Pivot Table and basic formulae knowledge essential)
- A demonstrated attention to detail
- Experience with data systems / warehouses. Ability to learn new systems quickly yet effectively
- Previous experience of quantitative and qualitative analysis
- Effective written communication with the ability to communicate the same information to audiences of varying understanding

The Role
As the Senior Systems Administrator, you will assist and make recommendations in the planning and development of the University of London Computer Centre technical infrastructure & managed hosting service. You will have involvement with the day to day operational running of ULCC services to ensure they achieve published performance levels and will be involved with the design and specification of new projects. You will have responsibility for specific projects for University of London Computer Centre and its customers run in accordance with the established ULCC project management methodology.
To be considered for this role you must have previous experience supporting customer systems in a service delivery environment and experience in a similar customer/student facing role. You will have good practical and theoretical understanding of the range of technical architectures in existence, especially Linux (predominantly RedHat), Windows Server (2008, 2012) & Unix (predominantly Sun Solaris), and a good working knowledge and theoretical understanding of computer networking including IP networking, routing protocols and network security. You will have a practical and theoretical understanding of mainstream applications including Apache, Tomcat, Java, Oracle, MySQL, LDAP, Shibboleth. You will be a pro-active and a problem solver with excellent attention to detail and excellent customer focus skills.
