We support veterans and individuals with disabilities through our affirmative action program. CrowdStrike is committed to providing equal employment opportunity for all employees and applicants for employment. The Company does not discriminate in employment opportunities or practices on the basis of race, color, creed, ethnicity, religion, sex (including pregnancy or pregnancy-related medical conditions), sexual orientation, gender identity, marital or family status, veteran status, age, national origin, ancestry, physical disability (including HIV and AIDS), mental disability, medical condition, genetic information, membership or activity in a local human rights commission, status with regard to public assistance, or any other characteristic protected by law. We base all employment decisions including recruitment, selection, training, compensation, benefits, discipline, promotions, transfers, lay-offs, return from lay-off, terminations and social/recreational programs on valid job requirements. CrowdStrike was founded in 2011 to fix a fundamental problem: The sophisticated attacks that were forcing the world's leading businesses into the headlines could not be solved with existing malware-based defenses. Founder George Kurtz realized that a brand new approach was needed - one that combines the most advanced endpoint protection with expert intelligence to pinpoint the adversaries perpetrating the attacks, not just the malware. There's much more to the story of how Falcon has redefined endpoint protection but there's only one thing to remember about CrowdStrike: We stop breaches.

Staff Platform Engineer
Hyperexponential
About hyperexponential (hx) At hyperexponential, we're building the AI-powered platform that enables the world's most critical decisions in a £7 trillion industry, which risks to take, and how to price them. These are the decisions that shape real-world outcomes: whether rockets successfully launch into space, autonomous vehicles make it to market, or communities recover after major storms. Until now, insurance has been making billion-pound decisions using outdated tools. We're changing that. Our platform brings together data, AI, and human expertise to give insurers the fastest path from submission to decision - helping them move faster, act smarter, and take on more risk with confidence. Backed by a16z, Highland Europe, and Battery Ventures, we're scaling globally - already trusted by nearly 50 of the world's largest insurers, with zero churn and billions in premiums flowing through hx. What began as a single product in one market has rapidly evolved into a multi-product, multi-territory platform powering every stage of pricing and underwriting. AI is at the core of what we do - from building the world's first domain-specific AI peer programmer for insurance (think GitHub Copilot with a PhD in actuarial science) to shaping agentic workflows that reinvent how this industry operates. What makes hx different is the people who build it. Here, impact isn't tied to title or tenure; it's defined by the challenges you take on and the discipline you bring. Surrounded by peers who stretch you, you'll do the best, hardest work of your life in a company engineered to endure. If that sounds like you, join us in building what comes next. About the Platform team Platform at hx builds the foundation that enables engineering teams to ship secure, scalable applications at velocity. We're evolving towards an AI-first platform where self-service infrastructure, intelligent automation, and reusable components compound developer productivity and operational excellence. This isn't about maintaining the status quo; we're reimagining how modern software delivery works. As the Staff Platform Engineer, you will own the technical direction of this evolution. You will define the architecture and engineering standards that others build to, drive coherence across teams, and ensure the platform strategy is aligned to long-term business outcomes. You will shape how AI-first, self-service infrastructure is done at scale, not just by delivering capabilities yourself, but by creating the conditions for engineering teams across the organisation to move faster, more safely, and more autonomously. Check out our Engineering Candidate Hub for a behind the scenes look at the team you would be joining! What you'll be doing Establish a coherent 12-18 month technical direction for the platform, with clearly articulated trade offs, milestones, and alignment across engineering leadership. The roadmap is understood, trusted, and actively referenced by stakeholders. Platform capabilities are adopted broadly across engineering, not because teams are told to use them, but because they are well designed, well documented, and genuinely reduce friction. Measurable reduction in Platform as a bottleneck for common provisioning and deployment tasks. Define the architectural patterns and standards that enable autonomous and AI augmented workflows across the organisation. Other engineers can build AI native capabilities without requiring Platform's direct involvement in every initiative. Platform defined standards for security, reliability, and operational excellence are embedded into how all teams build not enforced through gatekeeping, but adopted because they are the path of least resistance. Measurable reduction in misconfiguration, security exceptions, and operational incidents across the estate. Senior engineers are visibly stronger for having worked alongside you. The team develops better instincts for architecture, trade offs, and platform thinking. You are sought out as a technical authority. What you'll need to have done Defined the architecture, standards, and patterns for the platform domain over a multi quarter horizon. Makes high judgement calls on foundational trade offs such as build vs buy, depth vs breadth, short term pragmatism vs long term coherence and brings the organisation along on those decisions. Navigating disagreement across senior engineers, architects, and stakeholders to reach durable technical decisions. Comfortable holding a position under pressure, updating it when presented with better evidence, and ensuring decisions stick once made. Accountability for outcomes that span multiple teams and that they do not personally deliver. Designs systems, standards, and enablement approaches that multiply the effectiveness of the engineers around them, rather than being the primary hands on contributor to every initiative. Defined how AI and automation are embedded into the platform at an architectural level not just experimenting with tools, but establishing patterns that make AI augmented workflows the default for engineering teams across the organisation. Understanding of the adoption dynamics, internal customer needs, and the systemic barriers to self service. Shapes the platform roadmap based on feedback, usage data, and a clear eyed view of where friction exists and ensures the platform earns its adoption rather than mandating it. Identified architectural, security, and operational risks before they become incidents. Influences how the broader engineering organisation thinks about reliability, security posture, and cost efficiency not just within Platform's direct remit. Connecting platform decisions to business outcomes clearly and credibly. Can represent the platform strategy to senior leadership, translate engineering constraints into business language, and use commercial context to sharpen technical priorities. Actively developing senior engineers through technical challenge, honest feedback, and deliberate exposure to harder problems. Recognised as someone who raises the capability of the team, not just the quality of the code. Models the engineering culture the organisation is trying to build. You're unlikely to thrive here if You prefer executing predefined tasks over taking ownership of ambiguous problems that require exploration, experimentation, and iteration to solve. You view platform engineering as building infrastructure in isolation rather than treating it as a product with internal customers whose adoption and satisfaction drive success. You're uncomfortable with rapid change and continuous improvement, preferring stability and established patterns over evolving practices based on data and feedback. If reading our Culture Document leaves you feeling neutral rather than energised, hx may not be the place where you'll do your best work. We're building something that asks for commitment and conviction, and we want you to feel excited by the opportunity to grow with us. Compensation At hx, we're committed to salary transparency. You'll always have clarity on pay early in the process - our Talent Partner will share details with you during initial conversations - and we're working towards publishing salary information for all roles globally. Because we're building at the intersection of technology/SaaS and insurance, our roles don't always map neatly onto traditional benchmarks. Our approach is to design compensation that's competitive in the market, fair across teams, and aligned with the impact our people make. Equity: We offer equity across all roles at hx, making it a significant component of total compensation. Your Talent Partner will be able to share more details about this. Benefits £5,000 training and conference budget for individual and group development. 25 days of holiday plus 8 bank holidays (33 days total). Company pension scheme via Penfold. Mental health support and therapy via Spectrum.life. Individual wellbeing allowance via Juno. Private healthcare insurance through AXA. Income protection and Life Insurance. Cycle to Work Scheme. Additional perks Top-spec equipment (laptop, screens, adjustable desks, etc.). Regular remote and in person hackathons, lunch and learns, socials, and game nights. Team breakfasts and lunches, snacks, drinks fridge, and a fun office at The Ministry. Exceptional opportunities for personal development and growth as we build something remarkable together. Interview process Initial call with our Talent team (30 minutes). Manager Interview (60 minutes). Technical Assessment (system design whiteboard) (120 minutes). Values Interview with Tech Leadership (60 minutes). We offer! Our commitment to Diversity hxers are at the centre of everything we build. We know that progress depends on diverse perspectives, and we are committed to creating an environment where everyone can thrive, grow, and make an impact. We recognise there is always more to do, and we take responsibility for shaping a workplace that is not only diverse but genuinely inclusive. Diversity is not just the right thing to do, it is key to solving the complex challenges we choose to take on. By welcoming people from all backgrounds and experiences, we strengthen our ability to question assumptions, push boundaries, and design solutions that endure. If you're energised by complexity and motivated to grow, we encourage you to apply and join our global team. . click apply for full job details

Senior Front End Software Engineer - Application Development
Palantir
A World-Changing Company Palantir builds the world's leading software for data-driven decisions and operations. By bringing the right data to the people who need it, our platforms empower our partners to develop lifesaving drugs, forecast supply chain disruptions, locate missing children, and more. The Role Palantir Foundry is an end-to-end platform for data-driven decision-making. We're transforming the way organizations securely integrate their data, so they can then build reliable, critical applications atop that unified foundation. Our customers use Foundry to perform rich analyses that drive core operations within their organizations. They can also build sophisticated, full fledged programs, such as common operating pictures, alert triaging inboxes, and resource allocation planning tools driven by rich ML models. As a Senior Front End Software Engineer focused on application development in Foundry, you will be responsible for crafting the tools used by thousands of users to build the sophisticated applications that power their businesses. You will be architecting and developing interfaces, state management, and access patterns to support data intensive workflows that are both powerful and approachable. You may spend one day interviewing users to better understand their needs and identifying product gaps to improve. The next day, you might find yourself considering that customer context along with signal gathered from other customers in different industries, brainstorming approaches to handling intricate UX needs with your teammates. You'll regularly be faced with sophisticated technical problems, requiring you to scope out the solution design and find an incremental path to shipping new features. As part of this, you will own APIs and schemas that power your frontend code, or work with other backend engineers in developing them together. We're hiring engineers who are passionate about solving real world problems and empowering both developers and end users to work optimally. If you're motivated to develop reliable, performant, and scalable systems, and to design robust APIs and primitives, this role offers the opportunity to make a significant impact on our products and the people who use them. Frontline Foundry Software Engineers may be offered the opportunity to Frontline, an exclusive program unlike any other. This unique, short term assignment involves being embedded with customers, allowing you to work directly with users and gain firsthand insight into how our products are used and the challenges our customers face. Unlike traditional engineering roles, Frontline immerses you in complex, ambiguous problems, empowering you to deliver impactful solutions across some of the world's most important industries and institutions. Some of our most successful products were built on the factory floor, addressing real world problems for the world's most important institutions. These products were developed by some of our most successful product engineers, who began their careers in roles aligned with Frontline responsibilities, gaining a deep understanding of both our technology and our customers. Frontliners operate across a broad spectrum of responsibilities, much like a startup CTO. They work in small teams to own the end to end execution of high stakes projects. This spectrum ranges from discussing architecture and building custom web apps to conducting workshops with users and strategizing with customer executives. No two days are alike, as each day is diverse and impactful. By witnessing how customers engage with Foundry and experiencing these pain points firsthand, you'll gain unique insights that feed directly back into our development process, helping to refine and enhance our products. After your frontline rotation is complete, you will return to your regular role where you can apply the experience and understanding you've gained. Core Responsibilities Leading and mentoring within our community of engineers and building shared frontend tooling to enable teams across Foundry. Architecting and building for high scale data intensive APIs (example). Developing interactive workflow UIs. Building products which aim to make technical concepts accessible for non technical users. Creating low code/no code WYSIWYG tools, which enable application builders within Foundry to build products for their users. Building the user experience for our next generation of pro code tools to enable developers to build on top of Foundry. Engaging with signal directly from our forward deployed engineers and deployment strategists to rapidly evolve our product to meet real world requirements. Technologies We Use Typescript, React, and GQL are central to our frontend development. Blueprint as a re usable front end component library. A combination of open source and internal technologies that suit the problems at hand. Industry standard build tooling, including Webpack, GitHub, and CircleCI. What We Value Passion for improving user workflows and building user interfaces that enable users to tackle their problems, while still maintaining engineering quality. Ability to work collaboratively in teams of technical and non technical individuals and understand how technical decisions impact the people who will use what you're building. Skill and comfort working in a constantly evolving environment with dynamic objectives and iteration with users. Experience brainstorming and iterating with product designers. Experience building high quality software in a fast paced CI/CD development environment. Proven ability to learn continuously, work independently, and make decisions with minimal supervision. Ability to learn new technology and concepts, even without in depth experience. Active UK Security clearance, or eligibility and willingness to obtain a UK Security clearance is beneficial, but not necessary. What We Require 4+ years of frontend software engineering experience. Experience crafting complex user experiences (UX) with a strong intuition for good design and usability. Experience working with design systems such as Blueprint, Material UI, or similar. Strong frontend coding skills used to write clean, effective code, regardless of framework, and existing proficiency in JavaScript and understanding of how web technologies work. Familiarity with data structures, loading patterns, frontend frameworks, and other technical tools and concepts. Proficiency with programming languages such as JavaScript/TypeScript, or similar languages. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Principal Software Architect
Appvia
Principal Software Architect- UK Security Clearance eligibility required. Location: London, UK - Hybrid ( 1-2 days per month in office / onsite) Contract: Permanent, Full-time Package: £80,000-100,000 + 10% bonus + 10% shares options + benefits About Appvia At Appvia, we help organisations modernise how they build and operate software. We are a specialist platform engineering, software, and AI enablement consultancy, delivering resilient, scalable systems that help teams move faster while maintaining quality, security, and reliability. Our work spans cloud platforms, developer experience, modern application delivery, and AI assisted engineering practices. We partner with customers across public and private sectors to reduce technical debt, improve engineering standards, and evolve complex systems using modern software engineering approaches. Since the start of 2026, our Software Engineering practice has grown rapidly into a dedicated team supporting large scale modernisation programmes across public and private sectors, and we're continuing to invest heavily in growing the capability further. About the Role As a Principal Software Architect, you will be the architectural voice within our software engineering engagements: owning solution design, shaping technical direction, and constructively challenging both the business and technical architecture of the systems we help modernise. Domain Driven Design sits at the heart of how we approach this. You will lead the domain modelling that underpins our solutions, working with customer stakeholders and domain experts to build a shared understanding of the business, establish a ubiquitous language, and translate that into well defined bounded contexts, service boundaries, and system decomposition. Where a customer's existing architecture doesn't reflect their domain, you'll make the case for change and lead it. This is a hands on role. You'll spend most of your time developing alongside the team, but you'll be doing so while driving the solution: ensuring the domain model is expressed faithfully in the code, making and documenting architectural decisions, and ensuring what we build is coherent, evolvable, and aligned to the customer's business goals, not just well engineered in isolation. You will work closely with delivery managers, platform engineers, customer architects, and senior stakeholders to influence decisions that sit above the codebase: system decomposition, integration strategy, domain modelling, and the trade offs between business need and technical direction. You'll also help lead and grow the team, and contribute to Appvia's broader engineering strategy by shaping the architectural patterns, DDD practices, standards, and AI assisted engineering approaches we apply consistently across customer engagements. Interview Process - 3 Stage Discovery conversation with Talent Acquisition Technical & Architecture Interview with the Engineering Team Final Interview with Leadership Important You must be eligible for UK Security Clearance (SC): British Passport or ILR Resided in the UK for the last 5 years No criminal record or financial irregularities About You You are an architecturally minded senior engineer: someone who thinks in domains, systems, and trade offs, but who has never stopped coding. You believe that good architecture starts with a deep understanding of the business domain, and you're energised by shaping the why and what of a solution as much as the how. You're comfortable challenging established thinking with customers in a consulting environment, earning influence through credibility, clarity, and delivery. You'll bring: Deep, practical experience applying Domain Driven Design on real systems: strategic design (bounded contexts, context mapping, ubiquitous language) as well as tactical patterns (aggregates, domain events, anti corruption layers) and knowing when each is warranted. Experience leading collaborative domain discovery with business stakeholders, using techniques such as Event Storming, domain storytelling, or similar. Strong architectural judgement, with a track record of owning and driving solution design on complex systems, not just contributing to it. Proven delivery of microservice based architectures where service boundaries were derived from the domain, including the hard parts: data ownership, integration patterns, and evolving boundaries as understanding of the domain deepens. The ability to understand a customer's business architecture, connect it to technical decisions, and constructively challenge it when it doesn't serve the outcome. Confidence communicating and defending architectural decisions to senior stakeholders, and documenting them clearly (e.g. ADRs, C4 or similar). Strong hands on full stack development skills. You lead from within the codebase. Experience improving engineering effectiveness through testing strategy, automation, and developer tooling. Exposure to AI assisted development approaches to improve code quality and productivity. Confidence mentoring engineers and growing domain driven and architectural thinking across a team. A consulting mindset, able to translate business problems into practical technical solutions. Experience in regulated or public sector environments is beneficial but not required. Responsibilities Own the architecture and solution design of modern, scalable software systems across customer engagements. Lead domain discovery and modelling with customers, establishing bounded contexts, a ubiquitous language, and a shared understanding between business and engineering. Shape and challenge business and technical architecture: service boundaries, domain models, dependencies, and integration strategy across complex systems. Ensure the domain model is reflected in the software itself, keeping code, architecture, and business understanding aligned as systems evolve. Act as a trusted architectural advisor to customers, guiding decision making, articulating trade offs, and influencing direction at a senior level. Work hands on across the stack, particularly on React based applications. Architecture at Appvia is done in the code, not just on the whiteboard. Establish and document architectural decisions, patterns, and standards that outlive individual engagements. Drive improvements in development processes, testing strategy, and delivery cadence. Support teams in reducing technical debt and improving long term maintainability and evolvability. Collaborate with platform and cloud engineers to deliver cohesive end to end solutions. Mentor engineers and grow DDD and architectural capability within Appvia's engineering practice. Technical Skills Core technologies (in order of importance): Java / Spring NoSQL / SQL databases TypeScript / JavaScript HTML / CSS / XML Playwright Docker / Kubernetes Maven GitLab AWS Nice to have: GovUK UI Framework Azure / GCP .NET Why join Appvia? We are a self funded, London based consultancy, growing rapidly while staying true to what got us here: a human, engineering led culture built on trust, ownership, and getting things done. As we scale, we're maturing as a business and expanding into new areas across platform engineering, software, data, and AI. We're intentional about keeping our culture at the heart of it. We operate with a flat structure, agile ways of working, and a strong focus on collaboration, where good ideas come from anywhere and people are trusted to make an impact. We work alongside our customers to solve complex, real world problems: modernising systems, improving delivery, and building scalable platforms that enable long term success. If you want to be part of a team that values people as much as technology and gives you the space to grow while working on meaningful challenges, Appvia is the place to do it. What's on offer? Work life balance Flexible working hours - because we know life happens outside of work Hybrid working - outcomes focused working 25 days' holiday a year, plus bank holidays An additional day off for your birthday Enhanced maternity and paternity to full pay Workplace Nursery Benefit to help working parents For your well being Full Private Healthcare cover for you with partners and children covered 50% Death in Service Cycle to Work scheme Electric Car Scheme Pension plus a salary sacrifice option for even greater savings Employee Assistance Programme Free hygiene products available in the London office Mental health support Free therapy through AXA Access to the Headspace App Trained Mental Health First Aiders Other fun perks Learning budget of £1,000 a year Your own MacBook Pro while you work at Appvia Dog friendly office Wear what makes you comfortable Free snacks in the office Pool table & ping pong table Regular team socials, board game nights, industry meetups and more!
